Paul:

A couple of forums ago (?) I had mentioned the stacked plate design radiator. They were more efficent and more econimcal. Of course ALL the info I had on it was lost during one of our many computer crashes, so I recently did a search.

Here's what I discovered. Although they ARE more efficent and more economical, the makers of em STOPPED makin em. Nobody seems to have an answer as to why. They still however use that design for trans & oil coolers.

I believe B & M was one of the company's that made them. One of my uncles owned a radiator repair shop, and I worked there for several years, but that was a million years ago, and I'm sure most (if not all) of what I had learned no longer applys.
