Thanks for the picture Marty. When looking in the shop manual under the body/exterior section, it shows a mirror mount that is two parts that mounts in the three holes, and a single post that is adjustable for length/height. The post mounts between the the two pieces. I wonder if the door is not the original and came from a sweptline? I would imagine they are the same? I noticed some sweptline photos that had a similar mirror to this picture in the shop book. The mirrors I tok off where similar to the ones in the photo you posted, but they did not use the factory holes. I'm not trying to be fussy about this, but the truck is a true gem with 12,000 original miles so I'm trying to keep it right as rain. Thanks again for the help....chrisnj
