Thanks. Yeah, it helped, but it also added to the confusion. As ya know, I have the 5.9 Magnum in my D. It was purchased as a high rise type manifold to help in the D's breathing and boost my mileage a tad. The 5.9 comes with a throttle body fuel injection system.
I had replaced my TB with one from Dan Arcand (The Fastman). When I got the manifold, it came with that adapter plate I also mentioned, and I was told I couldn't use the manifold as it was for a 4bbl carb, NOT a TB.
I admit my mechanical knowledge is limited. My cut off point for working on vehicles is 1972. Anything after, ya need a electronics degree, and also be a journeyman plumber. So when someone who's supposed to be in the know says nix, well..... So with the #'s I gave ya, in theory, it should just bolt right up to my D????
