I tried to screw it clockwise and it locked up and so I saw a rollpin through the nut and took the pin out. At this time I could take the nut off and screw the stud in with a screwdriver. When it got flush with the housing I quit. Did NOT want it to fall inside.

I called a truck shop guy and he told me to keep screwing it in and it would be okay. Plink......screw is inside in neverland.

To the other side......got cleaning the grease off and it said "danger, blah-blah spring under tension, to release turn screw counterclockwise!!!!" So I backed it out 3 inches and the brake released, Ya hoo.

So now what do I do with my screwed up one? I need to get some expert advice to look at it and see how to take it apart now that I messed it up. I sure know those springs are serious danger. I guess we all bite it sometime, but not on this deal.
