…(so catch me if I fall) by saying that my post was not theory in its entirety.

The quote: “tight network of established and well known ‘movers and shakers’ in the Power-Wagon collecting community”. I used the description “movers and shakers” from a previous post to mine to expound upon my point, but I stand by the quote as I see it being supported by fact.

The quote: “some with connections to the film industry”. I stand by it and also see it being supported by fact.

The quote: “if a production company was really serious about wanting a Power-Wagon to use, they would not have to post on a public Forum to find one”. I also stand by it and see it too as being supported by fact. Though, I admit, maybe not each and everyone in the film industry would realize this.

As for the quote: “that is not the way TV stars are found or TV props for that matter”. You got me on that one. I was theorizing.

Of course all of this mentioned above is purely my opinion no matter how strongly I believe in it.

As far as implying that the original posts by Mr. Yeganhe indicated that a scam was in the works, well, that is a pretty powerful word. It would not be my place, or within my best interests, to go down that road.

I do not think I have provided a disservice to either Mr. Yeganhe or myself in voicing my opinion that there must exist better avenues to take to find a Power-Wagon for a TV role. I would think that there would be a much better way than asking on a public forum and exposing oneself to ridicule, suspect, and suspicion. Mr. Yeganhe can either take it with a grain of salt, or leave it. If he is offended by my attempts to express my opinions that there may be an avenue to take that is easier on the ego, then he has come to the wrong forum. That is what we do here. We try to help people. Some of it comes in the form of opinions. I imagine the best way to find a Power-Wagon from the world outside the film industry would be to directly contact someone like Don Evans, Hollywood Lonnie, Peter Coyote, Gordon Maney, or yourself. If, like some have conspired, there is a possible scam in the works, then too, he has come to the wrong forum.

Thanks for your input. I have to go. The doggone news reporters and cameramen are knocking on my door again. ;^)
