I traded a 74 Vette for a JD 350B Loader. It came with a Droit Bucket and a Dozer Blade. The machine was so new, I kept her washed and waxed. When I finished building Moose Creek, I sold her for $16K. The price of Heavy Iron was so high, clean, low hour, used brought almost new prices.
The Loader pads on the tracks were terrible on Ice, she would slide sideways pushing snow down the driveway. Dozing with the blade was very ackward. It only had power up/down and tile forward and back. You could not do ditching or crowns.
The little boy is my son who is now 38. Golly was it that long ago I had the JD. Norm, better check on more current prices ha ha
