Don't forget to check out which water pump and crank pulley you use. The later 251 PW uses a low mounted water pump and extended crank pulley, where the 237 out of the '40's trucks uses a higher mounted water pump and thin (shorter?) crank pulley. Looks like the 40's saves about 2" over the later PW 251 setup. I can measure if you want.
