There are 5 different boxes listed for the years 61-71, basically the changes are for weight size and power assisted steering, but there are at least two interchangeable boxes (that means they fit the frame, but may not fit the steering column).
I'd check the sector shaft adjustment that Steve talked about first. They were susceptible to wear.
