I must also add to your great reply Norm the Mopar Kit is also setup more for performance. With the higher HP engines demanding higher RPM'S the various ECU boxes can bet purchased to match the desired RPM's. The Ptronix is a fine easy kit to install on a stock motor for no frills use. I am sure they may have other units for different applications but the Mopar kit over all will be a better conversion. And you can swap ECU's out depending in situations.
