Find a junk 12 passenger van, for the floor as well as the back seats, in two different lengths. Later ones have QD seats. Cut out the florr with it's cross pieces too.
I've always thought that an M37 would make a neat woody. The old style, ala Model T's vintage, all square corners, to go with the flat windshield and rectilinear body.
I would re-cycle the OE fenders. Or maybe locate some trailer fenders (chrome?)that are circular, and sell your OE's. Look of the 3/4t Carryalls.
