good to know, he did say he never started it, but who knows. I think the timing chain may have been spared the carnage that the heads and cylinders endured, but, we'll see. at any rate, the chain is certainly more tight than the one on the old motor! we'll have to see how useable it is...........

can you tell me more about getting the cam zeroed out, so I am clear as to what you mean, I want to do this right. I have never had to change a timing chain before, and especially not swap one, you know I am still learning of course. thanks for the info.
