They used the same floor pressing as the trucks designed to have wooden floors and simply added captive nuts for bolt in steel floor sections. The lip under the removable sections is the same as on the conventional '39-'47 truck cabs. If you have a close look at the front edge where that curved section is welded in under the seat frame, you will see where the original pressing has been cut away (and reinforced) for linkage clearance to the transfer case.
