Speaking of revisionism and Vietnam, the American Military never lost a major battle with the VC or North Vietnam Regulars. We lost the war when the democrats in congress forced artificial timetables on withdrawal and then, after we had left, cut off funding to support the South Vietnamese Government. Those scenes of the helicopters evacuating people from the roof of our embassy were years after our military had withdrawn. We were abandoned by congress, but never defeated. The same scenario is being played out today in Iraq, by the same folks who defeated us in Vietnam, our own politicians.
