Some of the Polys had hydraulic lifters. Its been over a year since I had my Poly apart so I may be off base here but if you have hydraulic lifters the lifters need to be charged with oil (happens automatically when running) to hold the pushrods up. If you have adjustment screws and locks, then disregard this post.
