You will never regret going with the electrics. I spoke with John and he is going to get me a set of the wiper arms that have a tension adjustment, my current ones do not. Now they are sort of like raindrop baseball, the drops that get hit by the moving blades are kept from hitting the windshield but a lot get through!
(an exageration but you get the idea)
When I first put mine in I had them wired "correctly" with individual switches in the wiper covers. I later hooked them together with a single Dodge wiper switch because the switch knob matched my other knobs. I liked them better independant.
