okay, so here's the deal. i just installed a "rebuilt" 318 polysphere in my power giant, but, it had sat for a while(5 years?) and now it is STUCK. I checked it before I installed it and could move it a little by hand and looked inside everywhere I could, even into the bottom of the cylinders, no rust found, everything looked great, unfortunately I think the upper cylinder(s) had rusted and now after getting the engine turn turn over a little it is jammed BADLY. I used diesel fuel in the cylinders to see if could free it up, I even pried on the pressure plate cover to see if I could back the engine up to where it was before I cranked it, no luck. should I just throw the tranny back in and do the pop the clutch thing!? or am I going to have to pop the heads, any suggestions would be appreciated.
