Huckster is the name for that bed style. It appears that way in the 48 Chevy commercial literature. They also made a Suburban/Panel style in the same manner with the same designation.
As far as I know the word "Huckster" carries no anti-semitic or racial overtones.Its original meaning was the man who drew attention to sideshows at a circus or carnival. It has come to refer to con-men and charletons but has largely faded from use. See Bill Clinton .
