Nothing on an M135 is the same as an M35, except the wheels and the light bulbs. GMC had to make everything about the M135/M211 sole-source even while everybody else in the M-series vehicle business was standardizing. Maybe they were ahead of their time in terms of military contracting. You would surely think they could have used the standard M-series cab, but no...

The one thing I've learned about M135/M211 parts is that there are a lot more of them in Canada. Maybe you should visit our friends to the north. And if you find one with a functional hydramatic tranny, please send it my way.
