One sawzall blade to cut up a truck/rivet removal idea

I've been hacking W200 sheet metal into bite-sized pieces for a scrap load, fitting it all into a van that's headed for the shredders in Portland. Can't torch much in the shop (doubles as my wood shop) so I've been cutting the rig up with a sawzall. I have all the cab, fenders, and front clip in small pieces and have used only one blade. It's getting burnt in places but is still usable. I expect chopping the frame (just two cuts there 'cause I'm making a trailer out of the rear frame and bed) will finish it off. The sheet metal is bent and twisted and has a lot of tension and binding. The blade is made by Milwaukie and is called a "Torch." I've had good luck with them in the past, but I this is surprising.

Here's something that's been working good for taking rivets off the frame and crossmembers: I hit them with a big cold chisel to make an edge the sawzall can catch, saw 1/3 through and then pop the tops off with a couple more hits with the cold chisel. They just go flying (as long as I keep the cutting edge of chisel right on the frame). Seems to work better than just using the chisel or sawzall alone. Usually I grind rivet heads off but again I'm trying to avoid creating sparks.
