I ran dual coils and plugs on my Yamaha DT-1. Really screamed up high. Two condensers worked it good. It was 11th oversize when I dumped it in the creek and had to head for the hospital to get sewed up. Nobody to dry it out. Rusted up during my convalescence. It never recovered, but neither did my numb hand.
12v coils get more resistence as they warm up, and they become 8 volters.
