The VC-3 and VF-401 style truck used basicly a standard 1940 2wd cab, but it got the windshield slides like the 1940-41 WC 4wd cabs. There also is no gas filler neck hole. The gas tank on a CV-3 is in the back of the frame like a WC 4wd military truck, and the VF-401 has a saddle mounted tank behind the cab.
But keep in mind there are VERY few VC/VF 4wd cabs out there, all the VF-401 style trucks had a closed cab, but only the VC-3 got a closed cab.
