Try one of the local chandleries...Greenport/Sag Harbor/Montauk for stainless steel cable. Today synthetic is the way to go, but may not be a good choice in a fire where the high temperatures might compromise the strength.
Are you going to go to the St. Patrick's Day parade in Montauk? Will you be marching? I'll be in front of Becker's...across the street from Shagwong.
