I am doing the same with my '63 Crew. I got a poly tank from an early '80s Ram pickup that goes inside the frame rails. Other suggestions I saw didn't seem to work with my short bed and cross braces behind the axle. Right now the tank is sitting on the ground under the truck. It looks like it will fit but I'll have to move the exhause to the other side. If you have a standard cab you may have less room to work with. I'm thinking of trying to keep the same filler location and just dropping the tube straight down and through the floor to the new tank.
