I have a 1952 flat fender power wagon with an amazingly loud howl from the tranmission, it only happens in high (4th) gear ... my neighbors can hear me coming from a distance ... this happens at all speeds above 15 MPH, worst sounding while on a "level" throttle, least noisy when "off" the gas and amazingly silent if I disengage the clutch at speed ... I do love the truck but would love to get rid of this howl ... before I go thru the time and expense of tracing down the cause, I'd be most appreciative for any help I could get from someone with similar experiences ... thanks,
