Not quite Clint, but maybe this helps.

The PTO output rotates at 39.5% of the engine speed, regardless of trans gear or low/hi range. If you want to keep the output RPM's under 580, then keep the engine under 1450 RPM's.

This info came from the technical specification section of this site. This is very likely to be right, but I heard elsewhere that the PTO is 61% of the engine speed. This would require you to limit the engine to 950 RPM. But like I said, it is just hearsay and I'm only saying it as a word of warning. I'm sure Clint will have more definite information.
