Wilcox designed the swivel because there wasn't ARB's back then. A vehicle running ARB's front and rear CAN and WILL continue to move forward with only one wheel providing traction, that's the beauty of the ARB and why I cautioned Tim to be prudent with his throttle until he learns the system.
Don't doubt, what you you don't know or understand. If you don't have traction with only one wheel working it's because you have the wrong tire, the wrong air pressure, or the wrong driver....= )
I've been running the ARB's for over 19 years, you don't need articulation with an ARB, but it helps.
