Great photos! The Jeeps sure look like early Ford GP's. The Willys (pronounced Willis, not Willies) MB had a different fender, but a front photo would tell for sure as early GP's and MB's had different grills, before Willys adopted the stamped grill of the Fords. The Bantams had rounded fenders so they are most likely not Bantams.
On September 18, 1942, Fort Gates was renamed Fort Hood after the Confederate General, John Bell Hood.
