The larger bore on the master cylinder means that for every inch you push the pedal, you push more fluid into the lines. So this would be nice if you had a many brakes to engage, like on a 6x6 or 8x8 truck. It also serves to make the brakes engage sooner (as in: less pedal motion required).

But, like everything else in this world, nothing is free. You cant get something for nothing so you have to be willing to put up with the tradeoff. You will have to push harder to create the same amount of pressure. If you are using a brake booster, then no worries because they will provide plenty of boost. If you aren't using a booster, then you may notice a slight difference in foot-force required. Slightly more than 30%.
