Chris is right, I had a M37 that would run and idle fine but as soon as you took off and drive a short distance it would die. Pull off to the side of the road and it would start up and run fine. Take off, same thing. Turned out the rubber liner in the rubber fuel line was collapsing. Would only let enough fuel through to idle. Hose looked perfect from the outside.
