A lot of it is determined by your driving habits, how much you are going to be driving on those tires, what you are driving on? There are so many variables.
The swampers, if used heavily in the rocks will start showing wear after the frist trip out. Michelins are heavier and have more plies in the sidewalls, so the durability it there. With that durability, it looses flexibility which many desire for the rocks which can be achieved with the Swampers.
When it comes to looks, the Michelins look more at home on a PW then swampers. They could have been offered 40 years ago and no one would have thought different.
