I am planning to do as you have suggested. The main reason for the angle, aside from the fact that the straight bumpers on winch trucks are always so far out in space on the ends, is that I want to have my Meyer plow on the truck and it's necessary to have that clearance when the plow turns to angle position. The angle will begin just outside of the frame extensions. JH
