I don't know if ya read my post, but I'm sure you've heard the old joke about doctors burying their mistakes. If ANY way is possible BEFORE you put yourself in that position, you should take it.
Read ALL that you can about what is wrong with you so ya have a fighting chance at least. Sure the medical profession has come a very long way recently, but they're still guessing for the most part.
Besides my issues, we almost lost my wife from an outpatient proceedure that was supposed to take 30 minutes. They gave her a spinal they weren't supposed to and she was on life support for 14 hours. To top it off, the idiot surgon did the wrong thing.
With the medications, DON'T let them dump a whole bunch of different stuff on ya at one time. Take one new one at a time, see how it works (or doesn't) before ya start the next. Give it at least a couple of weeks (unless it screws ya up right away).
