If it is a car engine, you can get a water pump housing that comes out on the same side as the 318,most 1 tons have heavy duty radiators.
the bell housing is the main cost/problem to find for the bb.
but they are out there, even lakewood makes one, not long ago you could still get them at a Dodge dealer, might check.
pretty much the same from 69 tell the quit making the bb in pickups.
lots of them came with 383s in 69-71
