Came back into possesion of an underhood welder today (runs off the alternator) I owned it once but couldn't think of a clean way to put it on my 98' so I traded it to a buddy for something. Asked him today about and he said he still had it!! I have already retrofitted the C***y alt. onto my FFPW so it should be just a matter of buying some small parts and basically bolting and wiring it into place.
Has anyone ever done this before?? Seems like a very nice to have in order to be semi self-sufficient in remote areas.
