Dutchman made me a set of 4340 axle shafts for my centered rear diff. I had them make a set of double splined shafts. I used these in conjunction with a spare set of splined hubs off the front axle that I replaced with lockouts. To make everything work, I had to machine about 1/8" off the axle nuts and the hubs so the rotating hubs would not contact the non rotating axle nuts.
Dutchman can make these shafts any length you need. I believe the person who I dealt with was Todd. They have all the specs for the splines and everything. I will dig up my information, snap some pictures of the setup and relay the contact information for the shafts.
