I googled this and every website I found said this is a myth.
One said if you leave it on concrete long enough, it will discharge, but has nothing to do with the concrete, just the fact that batteries discharge over time
Another said if you crack it open on concrete, and the electolyte leaks out, it will discharge (ha, ha, ha!)
