Be sure your cabinet is well grounded. This will prevent static shocks when conditions are just right. Also Ground the Vacuum System. Then internal inside the hose between the cabinet and the vacuum, run a piece of bare wire that is bonded to the ground at each end. This will prevent a static discharge inside the hose. It is 'possible', but unlikly that a unbonded system could suffer a dust explosion. They have happened. That will ruin your day in a real bad way. There was a discussion on Grounding and bonding on the forum about a year ago or so. A search of the archives will kick it up.

Nothing like a cabinet, I use mine all the time.
