Hi Ron;
It sounds like you have a military cab off a 2wd military contract truck.
All of the 4wds had arms on the windshields like the jeeps did, for holding the w/s open in rough ground.
The 2wd (a modified civilian pickup or carryall) did not need the arms and had the center regulator like powerwagons.
Did the cab have holes for cowl lights.
