Money, as a motivation, is the quickest way ruin a hobby. I saw this first hand with the Hummer club. Ten years ago, there was a just small group (family) of people that enjoyed the machine and offroading. Our motivation was pure, simply to get together and enjoy offroading and exploring. This small community would be there to help each other out. With the introduction of the H2, the focus changed over night. Money became number one. The only focus was selling sh-stuff to the masses. The Hummer hobby is destroyed.
With the WC's and the Power Wagon our community is mostly pure. Though, I'm younger (Gen X)than most involved with these trucks, and know I'll never recoup my investment into the Dodge hobby, I AM HAVING A GREAT TIME. MANY THANKS TO THOSE IN OUR SMALL COMMUNITY. Ed
