well, he did a lot of little crap here and there

Basically he wasted his time on small piddly a** stuff that kept adding up.

For instance. He played with a broken shifter knob for a while, trying to extract the broken bit of thread, etc to save the stupid shifter knob that cost like 5 bucks to replace!

I agreed to his 75 per hour deal upfront, but thats becuse he sugar coated the job times and I figured the cost wasnt worth my time these days.

For instance, he was to replace a rear wheel cylinder.we agreed afull vbraske job back there would be best while it apart. I asked up fornt, how long?

Oh, no more than 2.5 hours.

NOT 5 hours! he "ran into problems" was his answer.

stuff like that..

also, the exhaust manifold was cracked. I told him 2 days before that if he has any more issues that arrise out of the ordinary, to call me and Il chase down parts as required.

Oh no.

He evidently found a huge crack in the exhause manifold.

he didnt answer his shop phone for 2 days. When I got there, he had the manifold all off, cleaned and welded.

he said he took 3 hours of time to repair this.

I told him I could have gotten a brand new one for 220 bucks!! thats LESS than his 75 / hour rate.

And he WOULD NOT COST itemize his list of parts.

He is no doubt an unscupulous mechanic.

and a bad one at that.
