Joe,

I am doing the conversion on my WC right now. If you buy
Anchor part# 2108 http://info.rockauto.com/Anchor/Detail.html?2108.jpg
and 2107 http://info.rockauto.com/Anchor/Detail.html?2107.jpg
from

You can use this perfectly on 2-1/2" x 3/16" wall square tubing by drilling a 1-1/2" hole through one side and notching the bottom side of the tubing and adding the insert inside the tube. These came in early 70's chevy trucks with manual transmissions. You will need two of each. The nice oart is that they are reasonable, have steel inserts, and spread the area over a larger space. They are 1-1/4" high from tube face to transmission surface, and are made for the environment (temp, oil resistance, etc) Hope it helps. I intend to be mounting mine tonight into my WC.

Good luck.

Steve
