Maybe mandrel bent, or sand filled? There are detailed drawings out there, so existing parts do not need to be reverse-engineered. This in itself would run in the thousands of dollars if one could not do the design work themselves.

How about rear fenders (both first and second/third series)? I have heard of probably half a dozen people who have said that they were looking into it?
