frames are out there, for those of us that travel,
If i look back, and consider the travel cost, sleepless nights in my truck(at -13 degrees), and the long hours of travel,, the price is about right, that $300 truck with $1500 worth of parts just went up to about $2500,(to break even) after all is said and done,, i think john and eric, can attest to this, the $600-800 frame on epay, is nice, when all you have to do is sit in a cozy warm room, and paypal, and two days later its at your doorstep..
while out west i bought another truck, at $300, but it will cost $1200 in fuel to get it home. i also look at some parts as major purchases, tires!!, motor, paint, windshield,, at least the prices have been consistant, and can be budgeted for,, i have about 10 here, unfortunatly, i need all of them,
reproduction, will only be needed if the parts are not around, as you will have the purest, still wanting originals,,
unfortunatly, the WWII open cab seats, inner windshields, and 1/2 ton pass rear fenders are NOT around to buy as originals, or good take offs,, so suppliers, are repo-ing them,( ie Midwest Military)-thanks ,
