Just bought my second dodge power wagon with a 4 speed. Thought the first one had a rare dash rattling, teeth jarring chatter while starting out in second and sometimes shifting to third gear. Even put a new clutch and pressure plate in it to no avail. But no! Truck number two does the same thing! What can I do to fix it? The first was a 1976, standard cab, 1/2 ton, with a 318, (full time FWD) and high miles. Second truck is a 1978, 3/4 ton, crewcab, with a big block, (again full time FWD)and only 35K original miles. Any advise you guys can give me is greatly appreciated. I plan to keep this truck forever, but the clutch problem has got to go.
