{{Looking for a service manual for a 1961 push button tranny.Also need an adaptor to mount a 727 tranny to a 1952 276 hemi Desoto engine. }}

What kind of tranmsission do you have? Powerflite or Torqueflite. Being a '61 it can be eitther. You didn't get a '62 aluminum torqueflite did you?

On the adaptor, there was a company called Trans-adapt that I did business with years ago. I don't know if they're in business yet but it's worth a try. Also, Staufer Engineering out west (Oregon I think) makes a lot of stuff to put Whale Hemis into all sorts of stuff. I think he advertises in Mopar Collectors Guide. Lastly, check out the Early Hemi Association, they may have someone with just what you need. Sorry but I don't have a current address for them. I know they are still around but I haven't run an old Hemi in years.
