Thanks guys. According to the exploded view that Jay posted , which is what I was working from, I don't see the reference to the rubber washer. What I was hoping for was that someone like John would remember how it came apart, thanks. Sounds like I need to remove it from the rod end and put in first right befor the valve. Paul- does your cut a way show it? I would like to see that if you do have luck scanning. According to most that have offered an opinion my piston is not sitting in the exact spot that it should. Thanks again for everybody's help, next time I'll pay closer attention to how it comes apart. I'll let you know how I make out. Cheers, KB
