Spitfire engines are the Chrysler/Dodge 265ci version of the 25" long 251/236 block which was standard in Canadian Army M-37s. Were used in commercial dodge trucks and as industrial motors in farm equip., water pumps, welders etc. Are 2" longer than the 230/216 block standard to the WC and US M-37 vehicles but will fit with the addition of new motor mounts and a slight rad re-locate. With a dual intake manifold and a shaved head to increase compression this 265 will push 141 hp vs 85 +/- for the US 230. Makes a truck a little more lively.
