I am relatively new to all this but I have got the bug bad. I have located a rusty WC-52 at a junk yard only 150 miles from me. It is missing the winch, the tailgate, the tool box lids and glove box lid. It is rusty all over but dosent't seem to be rusted through. I have no idea of the motor condition. It is missing the carburator. The tires are all flat. The rear bed is needing new wood and the wood seats and bows are gone. The data plates are gone also.
Any idea on how much I should offer. I am tempted to go for it because of its proximity. I am tempted to offer $750 and bring it back from the grave.
Any possibility of finding a tailgate and winch in one lifetime? Are there motor options if this one is trashed?
