Thanks for the info! I looked at the firewall, it's straight, and doesn't appear to have been replaced. The rocker panels show no evidence of tin snips. They do however look like they have been welded on at each end. I assume for reinforcement, but perhaps the original PW rockers have been welded onto the cab.
The cab is Sea Wolf Sub Green in all the nooks and crannys as well as under the hood, has all the PW badges on the glove box, and the floor hasn't been hacked to allow for the PTO and x-fer case levers, the openings all look factory.
Perhaps someday I'll finish the truck and bring it to the Rocky Mountain Rendezvous to get an expert opinion. Until then, I remain perplexed...
