My son was interested in a diesel for his M37 and I went with him to the local Cummins distributor to check it out. He was also interested in putting one in his Chevy Crew cab 4x4. We were told the options for the Chevy were the "bread van" bell housing on a Cummins 6BT. This would then bolt up to his Chevy stickshift. The interesting thing is that we were told there is a rotation of the engine to accomodate the starter with a Chevy application. I think it was something like 6 degrees. Getting old and don't remember for sure. Bob
